SCHEDULE

Tuesday, June 25
- Check-in begins at 4pm at the Zurich Marriott
- Apéro at 6pm followed by welcome dinner

Wednesday
- Travel together to visit the Victorinox and Läderach factories and hear the generosity stories of the families (transportation provided)
- Dinner and free time in Lucerne

Thursday
- Morning sessions on global giving, philanthropic trends, and Swiss perspectives. Hosted at the Zurich Marriott.
- Free time in the afternoon and an optional walking tour around Zurich exploring religious and historic events

Friday, June 28
- Travel to Lausanne as a group (transportation provided)
- Visit local business owners and explore the rich history of generosity
- Closing dinner at Chillon Castle on Lake Geneva

Saturday, June 29 (Optional Touring Day)
- Explore John Calvin's Geneva and the history of the Reformation

  • Exkursion is an invitation-only gathering of generous givers, private foundation owners, and philanthropists from around the world. Each of the TrustBridge Global Network Members will be inviting participants to join the event. We believe this diversity enhances the conversation around giving and philanthropy to provide a wide-angled, global purview. We hope you will join us and contribute to the conversation!

  • Attendees are responsible for their own transportation to Zurich and home from Lausanne. Transportation from Zurich to Lausanne during the event will be provided for all event attendees and is included in the registration price. Excursions from Zurich and Lausanne to various regional destinations are expected and transportation will be provided and is included.

  • All lodging reservations are separate and the responsibility of attendees. Attendees should plan to spend three nights in Zurich (June 25-27) and at least one night in Lausanne (June 28). Hotels listed above are recommended, but if you would like to reserve a room at an alternate location you may certainly do so at your convenience. Group reservation discounts to the Zurich Marriot Hotel and Lausanne hotels are available (details provided after registration).

  • We are hopeful travel restrictions and other complications will not impede our ability to gather. However, we will be watching developments in Switzerland and other places to ensure we can provide a safe and enjoyable experience. If the event is cancelled for any reason a full refund will be issued. If you withdraw from the event after registering, the following refund will be provided:

    • Cancel before January 15th, 2024 = 90% refund (less credit card & processing fees).

    • 60+ days before event = 50% Refund (less credit card & processing fees).

    • Cancel within 60 days of the event = no refunds available.
