How Does it Work

If you’ve ever tried to fund a charity outside your country, you know how expensive and complicated the process can be. 

 

Cash and other assets are funded into the Foundation Fund as contributions​

 
 

Non-Cash contributions to be liquidated by the DAF Sponsor before they are held in the account.

Donors receive a tax deduction for contributions made to the Foundation Fund

 
 
 

Contributions are held in the Foundation Fund under the donor’s name until the donor decides to distribute funds to chosen charities.


 
 

Contributions held in the Foundation Fund accumulate interest until the account holder decides to distribute the money to a charitable cause.

The donor or Foundation Fund owner recommends using held contributions to provide grants to qualified charitable organizations and initiatives worldwide​

Frequently Asked Questions

TrustBridge shares the cost of operations proportionately among its donors. It collects an annual administrative assessment of only 30 basis points (0.3%) per year (charged monthly based on the average daily balance). Lower administrative assessments are available for fund balances above SFr 5 million. Other costs vary based on investment selections and unique administrative services provided. 

Yes, DAF or private foundation assets in many countries can easily be moved to your Foundation Fund.

Several time duration options exist and custom investment options can also be accommodated including exposure to multiple international exchanges and impact investments.
