Who is this event for
Exkursion is an invitation-only gathering of generous givers, private foundation owners, and philanthropists from around the world. We believe this diversity enhances the conversation around giving and philanthropy to provide a wide-angled, global purview. We hope you will join us and contribute to the conversation!
What transportation is included
Attendees are responsible for their own transportation to and from Florence. Transportation for activities within Florence during the event will be provided for all attendees and is included in the registration price.
What lodging options are available
All lodging reservations are separate and the responsibility of attendees. Attendees should plan to spend at least four nights in Florence (Sept 30 – Oct 4). The recommended hotel for the event is Hotel Number Nine Firenze, but if you would like to stay in an alternate location you may certainly do so at your convenience.
Preferred rates for Hotel Number Nine Firenze are available (details provided after registration).
How will travel or event disruption be handled?
We are hopeful travel restrictions and other complications will not impede our ability to gather. However, we will be watching developments in Florence and other places to ensure we can provide a safe and enjoyable experience. If the event is cancelled for any reason a full refund will be issued. If you withdraw from the event after registering, the following refund will be provided:
• Cancel before May 1, 2026 = 90% refund (less credit card & processing fees).
• 60+ days before event = 50% Refund (less credit card & processing fees).
• Cancel within 60 days of the event = no refunds available.
