TrustBridge Global is pleased to welcome Alan Barnhart as the newest member of its Board of Directors.
Alan brings decades of entrepreneurial leadership, business excellence, and a longstanding commitment to generosity and responsible stewardship. He served for nearly 40 years as CEO of Barnhart Crane and Rigging Company, a Memphis-based heavy lifting and transport company serving heavy industry and construction throughout the United States and Western Canada. Today, after 39 years as CEO, he serves as Chairman of the company.
Under Alan’s leadership, Barnhart Crane and Rigging expanded from a regional business into a nationally recognized organization with offices in more than 60 cities. In 2008, Alan and his wife, Katherine, together with his brother Eric, transitioned ownership of the company into a long-term charitable giving structure that enables the business to continue supporting philanthropic causes for generations to come. Their approach reflects a deep understanding of strategic philanthropy and the thoughtful use of charitable vehicles to maximize long-term impact.
Alan’s experience aligns closely with TrustBridge Global’s mission of making global philanthropy easier, more trusted, and more effective for donors, advisors, charitable organizations, and philanthropic partners. His perspective as both a business leader and an experienced philanthropist will strengthen the Board as TrustBridge continues expanding innovative solutions that enable generosity to flow across borders with confidence and impact.
He and Katherine have six children and 12 grandchildren, and Alan enjoys backpacking in his spare time.
